Apologies in advance if this feature already exists. My work involves accessing a lot of very slow database driven websites and quite a few won't return results in the quite short page request time out. Is it possible to have an option to increase this timeout period?
Option to increase page time out
Hey,
Changing the timeout settings is an operation that poses a risk to the browser's stability, and for this reason we prefer not to add an option similar to this. Sorry.

I use Microsoft Sentinel through portal.azure.com.
When I run big/long Log Analytics query after 60 seconds the connection is being killed.
I tried the same in Safari and MS Edge. There are no issues.
See screen shot below.
And then it always times out around 60 seconds.
I would like to have it working like in Edge or Safari
If you did this on purpose, then please add a Experimental Feature flag to change value or disable this time out totally.

Is it? Then why all major browser have it enabled by default?
Even though it is not commonly used, this is just how major service works by design (Microsoft Log Analytics Workspace). It isn't just about some's privately held, poorly designed data base. We are talking about service delivered by biggest software company in the world.
I'm not saying they've engineered it correctly, they should have use async queues with subscribers and all the stuff, but this is reality and we can't ignore it.
Okay okay ... So, Safari and Orion do not use the same WebKit version. However, we will need to investigate if there are alternative workarounds to add this kind of customization.
