Presently, Orion gets update in a relatively long time (when lot of changes have been done).
Rather, you should release update in shorter intervals (even if it has fewer changes).
joystmp Creating full beta builds takes an entire day. So if we do it every week, 20% of dev time is spent building releases. If we do it every three weeks only 6.6% of our time is spent doing so so we get much better efficiency.
Why does creating a full build take so long? I thought that building an app would just take a few minutes. I'm just curious.
eirk Orion uses custom version of WebKit and it takes 30mins-1h to compile on M1. We have 4 target platforms so that is 4 hours just building. On top of that notarization can take between 5 and 30 mins for each platform based on Apple servers mood that day. Plus last minute testing and changes for each platform (we don't do RC's for Mojave/Catalina and things do break) and you are already over a day into it.
Vlad I know that this may not be the right place to ask, but I was wondering how I can test the iOS app?

Vlad Thank you. Just filled the form. I didn't know this since I am not on discord.
