The 'search' settings on iOS allow choosing several preconfigured search engines or defining multiple custom ones. However, I cannot figure out any way to actually use these search engines aside from selecting a single one as default.
For this to be a viable browser for me, I need some way to easily run queries in various search engines on a case-by-case basis, ie. Firefox has a bar where I can tap the icon for any of my configured search engines to submit my query there. I thought maybe there is some way to configure a keyword for a custom engine, but if that's what the "Suggestion URL" field is for I cannot figure out how to make it work.
