  1. Tap the address bar
  2. Type a search string (e.g. “needle”)
  3. Tap ‘Find “needle” on page’
  4. Tap the “Done” button to dismiss the “Find on page” UI

At this point the UI will remain atop the underlying webpage and the user cannot dismiss.

Changing the search string isn’t possible. Typing on the keyboard has no affect.

One must restart the app to remove the “Find on page” interface.

I tested this on this very website and got stuck with the box over the page. When I restarted the app, I had to recreate my work filling out this form.

The “Done” button should dismiss the dialog reliably.

I am unable to reproduce this. Could you attach a video of the issue?
Here's how Orion behaved when I followed the steps for reproducing the issue.

      laiz one video, as requested.

I tap Done immediately and without using the up/down arrows, which might have an effect. Otherwise, it could be an extension or something else specific to my device.

        jcf Wow, not cool.
Has it already happened on other sites or is it a problem on OrionFeedback ?

Yannick it’s happened to me on GitHub, too.

I can reproduce every time first time after visiting private mode. Why it happens it's still a mystery to me. I have a workaround fix ready. I will try to fix it properly this week, if not I think we just ship the workaround which is adding a small delay before the find on page UI pops up.

Fixed in the most recent TeatFlight version of 1.3.16 (9) (WebKit 8620.1.16.10.11).

Very cool stuff. Thank you, all!
