Orion is lagging when switching to a particular tab.
See attached video.

Steps to reproduce:
Unfortunately, I don't know.
A new window with the same tabs does not display the same behavior.

Expected behavior:
Tab switching always happens instantly.

Orion and macOS:
Orion Version 0.99.109.1-beta (WebKit 613.1.12)
macOS Version 10.15.7 (19H1615)
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)

Since I can't reproduce this issue in a new window, I've decided to take a sample of the Orion process while doing a laggy tab switch. I'm not sure if it's helpful but I don't know how else I can be helpful besides a video and this.

Edit 2:
I navigated away from orionfeedback to hackernews in this tab and the issue persists. So it's appears to be related to that particular tab, and not the website loaded in that tab.
When I made sure I had 3 tabs open, closed the first (laggy) tab and switched between the 2 remaining tabs, there was no longer a delay on switching tabs. So that way I'd say it's also not related to the first tab of the window, just that one tab.
When I reopened the last closed tab, it was no longer laggy to switch to it.

    Thanks for sampling it, hopefully this will provide useful data.

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Have tabs pinned (I have discord on tab 1 and this feedback site on tab 2)
      • Leave Orion running for a while (maybe several hours? Unsure)
      • Switching to the pinned tabs begins to lag, and the delay slowly gets worse over time

      Other tabs which have been open as long as Orion has been open do not have this problem - it is only pinned tabs. This has been an issue since I started using Orion a couple months ago but I wasn't sure about how to trigger it (still not sure, seems to just be time).

      You can unpin the tab, and it still lags switching to it. Re-pin it, still lags. Only way to get rid of the lag is to unpin and then close the tab, or restart Orion.

      Inspired by the linked thread below, I took a sample - the only action I took was Cmd-Tab from Activity monitor to Orion, then immediately press Cmd+1 to switch to a pinned tab.

          Still present: Version 0.99.111.2-rc (WebKit 614.1.2), MacOS11.6.2 M1MBA.
          11 tabs open for (days?), reload on switching becomes noticeably slower.
          Restarting Orion with the same tabs, refreshing each one, after that switching is instant.

                Exactly. After some time (certainly days, possibly hours), the refresh on switching tabs gets slower. I will update on a minimum time (unless the delay just creeps up slowly).

                I have not seen this issue for many months now and would say that this issue is probably fixed.
                Can't say what release could have fixed the issue, it happened so rarely before.
                I didn't remember that this issue used to happen to me before I saw this discussion in my profile.
