This is about 1Password - Password Manager (8.10.56.28)

On my Mac, 1Password extension is working but inconvenient compared to its behavior on Chrome. First of all, to unlock the extension on Orion, entering the password is the only way.

On Chrome, you can unlock by Touch ID.

Once 1Password is unlocked, regardless on Chrome or the menu bar, 1Password extension on Chrome is unlocked as well.

But that unlocked status does not propagate to the extension on Orion.

I really hope 1Password extension on Orion to work in the same manner as on Chrome.

    himazu to make it working please check if:

    1. You have added Orion app to trusted browser list in 1Password desktop app (see the screenshot)
    2. Make sure the Orion browser app is placed under /Applications directory.

    This should solve the issue.

      What's 'Integration status' in 1Password's add-on settings? It should be green and say 'Connected'.

      If not, go to 1Password's settings (the desktop app), go to Browser menu, select Add Browser and manually point to your Orion.app.

        Adding the browser in 1password worked for me. Basic checks seem to reflect correct usage as per Safari/Chrome/Firefox.

              dino, Thank you for your reply. Adding Orion app to trusted browser list in 1Password desktop app makes the extension work way better. Now, the unlocked status of 1Password is reflected to the extension, hence I don't have to enter the master password every time I use the extension.

              However, the extension still doesn't work as good as on Chrome. On Chrome, when I click an ID input field, account options show up and clicking an account enters the ID and the password.

              But on Orion, clicking an ID input field causes nothing as shown below.

              I hope the extension on Orion works in the same way in this regard as on Chrome.

                Please disregard my last message above. I don't know why but 1Password Chrome extension is working fine on Orion on my Mac.
