laiz a bit hard to take a video of the issue. It’s been 23 minutes since I posted this issue and the toggle is back on (without me doing something).

I will keep the setting toggled off for now, and monitor its behavior

Did you add websites to your homescreen via 'add to homescreen' option from the share menu? And do you access them?

So, I've managed to figure out when the toggle turns back on by itself. Let's say I turn the toggle off and use the app normally. It stays off. If my phone locks and I open the app again, the toggle is on.

Hope this helps more, I cannot record my screen as I do all the above because the recording ends when the phone locks.

thanks for reply, this is very weird then. The only codepath that changes it i see is either by having focus mode enabled or by opening a homescreen bookmark

Just a follow up post, uninstalling and re-installing Orion fixed the issue. The toggle now stays off!

Every time the app is closed or even just suspended “hide toolbar on scroll” is toggled back on.

It is expected to save your config after suspending and/or closing the app.
