Bookmarks Bar folder removal

Currently in my Bookmarks folder list is Favorites, Bookmarks Bar and Bookmarks and none can be removed.
All folders are unnecessary as all should fall under the list of Bookmarks and perhaps add a folder called Other Bookmarks for those that people want hidden, similar to Chrome setup.
How it currently looks, all folders useless and unremovable.
Would be better if it looked like this:
to summarize previous discussions:
what should be done is to have a top level "Bookmarks" folder, BUT in the UI, don't show it to the user. it would be merely for API compatibility.
this is because that bookmarks folder doesn't need to actually do anything important in terms of organization.
the other special folders, Favorites and Bookmarks Bar, should show up above all other bookmarks, and the contents of the Bookmarks folder underneath.
basically:
The showcase of this folder is unnecessary, so hiding it and making it invisible, perhaps two pixels high, and removing the nesting of all bookmarks underneath.
Remove the empty space which is the red area. It can be removed visually.

I got the latest update to Orion
Version 0.99.124.1-beta (WebKit 616.1.10)
It is installed on iMac (macOS Ventura 13.3.1 (a) build 22E772610a)
The release notes stated the Bookmark Folder had been removed.
But that Bookmark Folder is still there.
Hi,
When I click on the Menu Bar "Bookmarks" it is still listed in the drop down menu.
Plus when I click "Edit Bookmarks" it is still clearly there at the bottom of page.

What I do not understand is why there is a folder for the Bookmarks Bar listed when you click the Menu Bar "Bookmarks", surely that is not needed?
If you are using the Bookmarks Bar, it is plain to see what Bookmarks have been listed in it, as it is visible onscreen.
I do understand they have to be stored somewhere, But when you click "Edit Bookmarks" that folder is plainly visible and editable.
It is really just another unneeded folder taking up extra Menu Bar space.
I really love the compact mode, finally we have a browser which gives us a choice of having a very slim and compact user interface and we don't have to put with large tabs and toolbars which have become the normal appearance of browsers since Chrome made its debut.
no its not. bookmarks bar is not the same as bookmarks (or bookmarks menu) which is not the same as favorites.
i thought this was clarified a few times already.
bookmarks/bookmarks menu - things shown in the Bookmarks
menu in the menubar
bookmarks bar - things shown underneath the address bar, and above the tab bar
favorites - things shown in the start page

As someone coming from years of using Safari and Firefox, I am used to having bookmarks directly listed in the Bookmarks menu bar, rather than forced into folder flyouts. In both of those browsers, bookmarks not placed in a folder are directly listed, which makes them very convenient. In Orion, however, all bookmarks must be in a folder, which adds an unnecesary step of hovering over a folder to access my bookmarks.
In Firefox, there is a folder called "Bookmarks Menu," the contents of which automatically appear in the Bookmarks menu bar. In Safari, any bookmarks outside of a folder appear in the Bookmarks menu dropdown. I have a preference for Firefox's implementation, but either would fulfill the request.
I've attached screenshots of how it looks in both Safari and Firefox, vs Orion's existing design.
Thank you, loving the browser!
