I was trying to download https://github.com/xobs/Galvani/blob/main/Galvani-EVT2.pdf on mobile. The three dots in the corner have two options: View and Download.
If I select Download, it informs me the file is 1.7 MB. However, the file never finishes downloading.
If I select View, it also offers to let me download it, but immediately changes the status to "Failed"
I would like to be able to download files.

Note that the same thing hapens in the latest build from TestFlight.
Able to reproduce:
For me, however, the download doesn't fail, it just remains at 0% with 0KB downloaded.
For comparison, here's Safari:
All files downloaded from GitHub failed to download on Orion, but they downloaded successfully on Safari.
They download ok on Orion

Download progress happens but when it finishes, it just says “download failed” or something like that. I noticed someone else had the same issue so I’d assume it’s a bug with the browser at this moment. I have 4 extensions, poper blocker, unlock origin, fast forward, and dark reader. I’m on iPhone 18.1.1

Could you share the download link that is failing?
Does the issues persist if you disable the extensions?
A video of the issue would also be extremely valuable even if the steps to reproduce the issue seem trivial to you.

Hey, so it applies to every download ever, I literally can’t download a single thing without it failing
At first I thought it was because I changed the download location but changing it back to default didn’t help either. I tried turning extensions off but it also didn’t help

This issue does exist. Orion is unable to download certain links, such as resources from GitHub. I have to long-press the link in order to download it. Directly clicking on the link to download the resources will result in a download failure.
