Can you add an option on "website settings" where you can disable the sound of the website (mute the site entirely) ?
Or on the general settings having an option "mute websites" and you can add the links of the website you want to mute ?
Some websites have annoying background music that sometimes can’t be mute and I have to stop my music and mute my phone entirely, maybe this extension would prevent it. I think google chrome have or had this option but only on android like you can see on this article : https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-disable-sound-with-the-chrome-mobile-app/
