Force quit when click on desktop notification

Clicking a notification that appears in the Notification Center doesn't move the focus to the tab [1]; instead, it forces the browser to close.

[1]: More specifically, it's the notification from my pinned tab (WhatsApp).

The browser should not crash, but take me to the corresponding tab.

I tried the following and was unable to reproduce the issue:

I repeated this three more times and nothing unexpected happened.

Sorry, I've been pretty busy lately, I think here's the way to reproduce it:

Redo 1 to 4 as suggested by @laiz and received the notification
Close (⌘ Q) and reopen the browser
(Although I didn't enable low-power mode when I tested it, the pin tab went to sleep, so I click the pinned tab to reactivate it).
Click the notification, the browser would crash.
