  2. Enter 'https://hütte.de' and you will be send to the correct domain but the domain is shown in ace string

Ad 1. The domain should open (this is what Safari does)
Ad 2. The domain should show with an umlaut (this is what Safari does)

    Looks like it is fixed on the testflight version. Could you check if you're able to replicate this?

    The current app store version still has the issues described in the initial report:

        laiz for me it does not work with the testflight version. No glue why.

            I figured it out. For some reason Show Full URLs has to be enabled (this is the case on both desktop and mobile). I have reported this bug/oversight here: #8594
