URLs with umlauts are not displayed correctly when 'Show Full URLs' setting is disabled

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Go to Orion settings on Desktop or iOS
2. In the Browsing tab, enable Show full website address ; on iOS the setting is called Show Full URLs and it's under Appearance
3. Visit a URL with an umlaut, for example https://hütte.de/es/ can be used
4. Look at the address bar:
   
   
5. Now disable the setting from step 2
6. Look at the address bar again:
   
   

Expected functionality:
URLs with umlauts should be displayed correctly regardless of the user's choice of viewing full website address or not.
