On the latest RC (0.99.128.1.1.1-rc), the sidebar remains light even after sunset when on automatic light/dark mode switching. The remainder of the UI does respect the dark mode switch, including the text of the tab labels and the suspended tab indicator icon.

Compare latest RC (left) to latest beta (right).

The entire UI, including the sidebar, should respect light and dark mode switching.

    As of the current RC (0.99.128.2.1-rc), this issue is now flipped. The sidebar background changes color as expected, but the text does not. However, performing any action in the sidebar (opening/closing/clicking on a tab) changes the text color to what it should be (black/white depending on light/dark mode).

    The text should change automatically when the background does with no need for further input.
