AndroidKitKat Can you show a video of how it looks like in adguard?
Element Eraser on Mobile
Sure thing!
AndroidKitKat That looks like a pretty complicated UX that will take weeks/month to develop. So will probably stay on hold
I like the way Safari did it

This is a neat feature of Safari, Can we see this in Orion?
Orion on macOS already supports this

Apple's is slightly better tho. As the safari's "distraction control" allows me to use tweakers.net for example after hiding the cookie screen. Orion does not. Scrolling is still not possible.
And currently Orion Mobile does not support this page-tweaks.
Edit: Page tweaks is more strict on HTML elements. Distraction control is more "chill" so to say more on the UX rather then strict HTML elements.

You should create a bug report with steps to reproduce for this.

Merged with correct thread for mobile.

Can you explain what this means?

Yes, Sp page when trying to "hide" the cookie thing on tweakers.net on orion:
It is still presented with a "blur" as if the cookie thing was still there:
When I do this on Safari (only have the beta on mobile):
The blur is also hidden, and the website useable:
Also on the Orion browser "Erase elements" is showing a section of a thing to be hidden, and hides the whole thing as shown earlier
Selection screenshot:
Which is a bit misleading.
This is why I like the "distraction control" UX better on Safari. It just works better / simpler.
It is incredible tool and works so nicely. Now that iOS allows various browser engines, and we are using Webkit, it will be awesome to port this feature to iOS!
The paint brush icon that can be added to toolbar elements so that quick edit of webpage can be made on iOS, please?
I find the iOS version makes elements vanish after the page loads, so you will still have the ad or whatever load and then blink out.
The way ublock/AdGuard does the actual blocking seems to work better.
