Since it is already implemented on macOS, I assume it to be relatively straightforward to do the same for iOS.

Even though the original thread for filter lists have the mobile tag, I cannot seem to find any trace of it.

Filter lists are great for all the reasons they were added to the desktop version. Since add-ons like uBlock origin donโ€™t work on mobile, filter lists would help a lot.

      Thank you.

Oh yeah, this is a duplicate of said thread. Although I spent around 10 minutes looking for one, I did not see it. My bad!

The feature would allow to add domains/URLS to block from loading, similar to adblocking extensions. This would allow the user to cover whatever block case they would prefer.

Say the user would like to block adult content, the user would go into Orionโ€™s settings and add domains to a large text block where URLs are separated by new lines. The user could also find an ad block list online that they would like to paste or load from URL due to something not being covered by Orion. It would add customizability to the existing ad blocker.

There's #6669 for iOS custom filter lists and #3853 for (soft) blocking individual URLs

Furthermore, I'd recommend looking into hosts files or custom DNS settings if you wish to block, say, all adult content sites across your entire system. Adding the ability to block sites like that on a single profile on one browser seems like a questionable way to spend developer time.

The ad blocker and tracking blocker work well on mobile, but what's really missing is a working cookie banner blocker.

Solution 1: Include it in the native options:

Solution 2: Add a list management system, as on the desktop version:

Currently the mobile blocklist cannot be configured by the user so the Orion team has a challenging task of balancing between having the best possible blocking performance and not breaking the users' sites.

#8026 is one of the primary suggestions to follow in this regard as that change could be rather substantial for what Orion is able to block without annoying the user and it is currently being worked on. Another relevant suggestion is #6669.

hello, this is not working properly in my ios, ipad os and macos, I can add and delete filters but nothing change in the filtering behavior... is it just my setup? is because the content blocker libraries are going to change?
please tell me what kind of test I have to do
