I've also experienced this quite frequently and exactly as described above, and perhaps more so with Google Sheets. The only plugin I have enabled is Bitwarden via the Firefox store. I've tried to disable it to see if the frequency drops.

After disabling all extensions, this happened again within 11 minutes on Google Sheets.

It happens on several other sites, too. Should I produce a list of sites on which it happens?

Most recently, LeetCode.com would also go blank after a short amount of time.

An interesting but annoying observation is that:

reloading does not work: it looks like it's re-fetching the page, but the tab doesn't unblank
refocusing on the address bar and hitting enter in the tab, i.e. not exactly reloading, doesn't unblank it
changing the address in the tab, removing a suffix of the url going back to the front page also does not unblank the tab

So it seems like the tab is bricked, and that reloading the page still works.

I am also experiencing this error. Using Dark Reader, return youtube dislike, sponsorblock, and ublock origin, with Orion content blockers and intelligent tracking protection turned off

I have also been trying to figure out the random occurrence of tabs going blank — what is the state of Tools → Low Power Mode on the profile that is exhibiting the behavior of suddenly going blank?

laiz Ooh good catch, I have mine always set for low power mode. That could definitely explain it, suspending tabs too early and not recovering them?

Same issue here! All extensions disabled. I'm 100% certain this is related to low power mode. Ebay in particular has this issue, where about 5 ebay tabs blanked out together. 0.99.134-beta.

Same issue here. Happens daily. I find it happens more consistently in lowe power mode, but also experience it with low power mode disabled. Very frustrating.

I usually have this a few times per day, and I put it down to a crash (memory related?).

It happens for my wife (rarely) on her M1 mac. My son has this happen on Microsoft Teams, on his low spec Intel Mac (with 2 tabs open).

Sometimes it happens repeatedly on a single website.

Sometimes I can't reload the page - I have to copy the address, open a new tab, paste into the address bar and load it there.

It just happened on 0.99.136-beta (WebKit 622.1.15.19.2)

Only extension loaded was 1Password. Low Power Mode is on. 260 tabs across 11 windows across 2 profiles.

macOS Sequoia, 15.6.1 (24G90). Intel i9, 64 GB RAM, very low memory pressure.
