In iOS, when tapping the three dots settings menu, the user should be able to keep their finger down and simply drag up to the desired item in the menu.

In other words, instead of users

  1. tapping on the three dots
  2. lifting their finger
  3. tapping on the desired item in the menu that appears

users should be able to

  1. tap on the three dots
  2. **not* lift their finger
  3. the menu appears
  4. the user drags their figure to the desired item and lifts their finger to select.

Vlad I meant this as more of a feature request than a bug report. But it's fairly common behavior across native iOS apps. For example, from Daring Fireball:

The interface of the apps, as usual from Flexibits, is exquisite. Take note, in particular, of the top-left-corner menu button in the iPhone app. It animates joyfully when opening, has subtle haptic feedback, and you can just tap-and-drag to select an item from it.
