My feature entails having a tab next to the url bar in compact tabs when one tab is only open. This will create consistency in the UI.
This is an Orion window with compact tabs with one tab open.
This is an Orion window with compact tabs with two tabs open.
Notice how when one tab is open, there is only an address bar, no separate tab to denote one tab is open. Whereas, when two tabs are open, there are two tabs showing, which is correct.
Making it so that when one tab is open, there is a tab next to the url bar, will create consistency and enforce predictability for users.
