In https://app.raindrop.io (the website, not the extension), there is a "Open" button to open the selected link(s).

When I select multiple links in Firefox, all of them will be opened in new tabs. In Orion, only 1 tab is opened.

Here is an example (Firefox on top, Orion below):

I expect the same behaviour as I see in Firefox, multiple tabs open when I click "Open" with multiple links selected.

Notes:

  • I tried in compatibility mode, no effect.
  • I tried with Safari Version 17.3.1 (19617.2.4.11.12), I get the same behaviour as Orion (so I am scared that this can't be fixed 😢).

Thanks!

It just means that this is how WebKit works. If you want this changed you can submit a bug report to webkit.org (nothing for us to change here).

    Hello!

I have sent a message to Raindrop to ask if they are aware of any existing issue or bug report first, they were super reactive and updated their guide to open multiple links to add Safari: https://help.raindrop.io/troubleshooting/open-multiple-links/#safari

I tried their recommendations in Safari and it works, multiple tabs are create when I selected multiple links and click on "Open".

I tried in Orion and it does not work.

      Yes.

I just tried a clean profile, logged into raindrop, used compatibility mode with the popup allowed:

Selecting 2 links and using the "Open" button still opens only 1 tab.

LittleSpot Can you reproduce this behavior with a public site/html page to make it easier to debug?

Vlad changed the title to Opening multiple links does not work .

Should be fixed in last RC
