Websites not clickable (tab freeze/lock)
- Edited
Still happening in the latest RC and in the new beta. For me it always happens when revisiting a tab after being on a different tab or from another app entirely. Never happens while actively using the tab.
Not sure if this will help but I've noticed on tabs that get locked into the "unclickable state", using the keystroke CMD+L causes the tab to unlock, jump to the clicked link, then lock up again.
This behavior is repeatable for me every time locks up on Version 0.99.127-rc (WebKit 619.1.1).
Can someone else see if they experience the same?
Still seeing the same issue in Version 0.99.127.1-rc (WebKit 619.1.1). Tried in eBay and same issue.
Sites like Youtube will freeze and refreshing does not work. Freezing happens with plugins loaded or even, capablility mode, and can only be solved by restarting the whole browser. Scrolling, clicking... Nothing works. Only a freezed website.
It also happens with both lower power mode on or off.
Previous version will also freeze some website but refreshing will solve the problem. In this update, even refreshing does not work. It's really annoying and I hope there will be a quick fix for this.

I have this issue on a lot of websites. Right click on the tab, suspend and then re-opening helps temporarily.
I've noticed this as well on many sites in the RC. Sites become completely unresponsive to any clicks, and I have to quit the browser.
I've disabled the 1Password extension and things seem to be a bit better now.
@kind-bowl @guardiangate4110 @orionlover can you please share webcontent process sample of frozen tab from Activity Monitor when this happens? Will be helpfull to debug the issue
guardiangate4110 please try latest RC 126.4.1.8 and check if the issue still exists (we updated WebKit to match STP-188 to check if this fixes the issue)
dino unfortunately doesn't appear to be fixed in RC 126.4.1.8.
Here is another process sample.
guardiangate4110 Can you try reproducing it in a new clean orion profile?

This happens in all existing profiles for me. I did not try a fully new clean profile yet, will check in the next days.
I have the exact same problem on youtube.com
suspending is still the only way to work around this issue. This happens in a lot of websites randomly, I hope there is a fix to this in the upcoming release.
The latest RC version (0.99.126.4.1.12-rc) has less frequent freeze (in my personal experience so far). However, it still occurs. Here is my webcontent process sample:
