      Often, but not always, when I click on a link that opens Orion (for example from iMessage) it will override the tab that is currently open rather than opening the link in a new tab. This causes confusion and potential loss of tabs left open intentionally.

      Clicking a link from outside the Orion app should always open the link in Orion in a new tab, not take over the current active tab.

          Sometimes when opening links from other apps (Mail, Discord, News, Messages, etc.) with Orion set as my default browser but not open in my recent apps, Orion will open to what I was viewing before, but the link I clicked is ignored. I have to go back to the previous app and try again, and then it will open the link correctly.

          I expect that opening a link from another application will open Orion with all previous tabs still present in the background, but the link I clicked will be open in a new tab and that tab will be open.

              Any chance this issue can get prioritized? This is often causing me lose track of tabs left open intentionally by being replaced by something else. This make the usability of the browser very difficult when trying to keep tabs organized.

                jostlund89 It is prioritized but we wwont be working on iOS release before dsktop releases middle of March.

                      When clicking a URL in an app other than Orion, and if Orion is not already open, then Orion opens without loading the clicked URL. Instead, the last open tab loads back up. If I then go back to the other app to click the link again, then it will open in Orion.

                      I expect clicking a link in a non-Orion app to open Orion (when set to default browser) and then load the URL in a new tab.

                          Steps to replicate the issue:

                          1. Use other apps than Orion for a while.
                          2. Click a link from an app, like Mail or Discord.
                            It switches to Orion, but doesn't open the link.
                          3. Switch back to the other app and click the link again.
                            This time it switches to Orion and opens the link.

                          OR

                          1. In Orion, click a link.
                            It puts the URL in the address bar, but doesn't open the page.
                          2. Click Go.
                            It then does go to the page.

                          Desired functionality:

                          1. Use other apps than Orion for a while.
                          2. Click a link from an app, like Mail or Discord.
                            It should switch to Orion and open the link.

                          1. In Orion, click a link.
                            It should go to the page.

                              When scanning a QR with my camera this is most noticeable, Orion sometimes does not open the link that came from the qr I scanned, a second scan nearly always makes it work but it is a nuisance as it means I have to scan most QR codes twice

                              I expect the link to open in Orion the first time I scan it. I think it might have something to do with restarting Orion once it has been shelved by iOS

                                You can see the first time it does nothing, but once it’s running, the second time it works - the page didn’t load but that was only because I had poor signal. I think it should work the first time I scan it.

                                    If the Orion app is closed and set as default browser, and you follow a link from some other app, Orion will open but will just stay with whatever page you had open, and not load the link. You have to switch back to the app and tap the link again, and then it opens the page.

                                    Fairly easy to replicate, just kill Orion and open a link in some other app.

                                    You follow a link and Orion will cold start and open the URL.
