There are a LOT of similar extensions on the Chrome store… have you tried any alternatives?

@Vlad With the latest update, "Edit Redirect" button is working. Redirect rules can be added/edited/deleted.

However, the rules do not work, i.e. urls do not redirect.

@Vlad Can you also specify app version along with Done tag? I am on Version 0.99.111-beta and the extension is not working for me.

joystmp I understand why, but since we have a tag every week (both for mobile and desktop), we would soon have hundred tags in the site and I would like to avoid that.

Vlad Understood. So can you do something like Done-Pending Release and Done-Released, or something like this?

@Vlad I'm on Version 0.99.112-beta. The release notes state that the redirector extension is working.

However, "Edit Redirect" button is working. Redirect rules can be added/edited/deleted.

I'm on 0.99.113.2-beta and I'm still seeing the redirects not working. I'd really like this plugin to work, since it's very useful for automatically redirecting to privacy-respecting alternatives (freetube, teddit, bibliogram).

Is anyone aware of any working alternative to extensions such as Redirector or Libredirect?

I can confirm this is still affected in the latest version of Orion (0.99.124-beta).
Using the following rule no URLs containing https://www.reddit.com/ are redirected as expected, this currently works on the latest version of Firefox (112.0.2).

Here is the current config I have on Redirector to redirect reddit to a libreddit instance (r.nf):

Here's a video of the behaviour I have on Orion Version 0.99.124-beta (WebKit 616.1.10)
MacBook Proa) ( (macOS Ventura 13.3.1 build 22E772610a)

For me the behaviour is that links typed into the address bar are not redirected (as is the case in Firefox) but links clicked within the browser seem to be redirecting for me. HOWEVER, I'm getting another issue. Not quite sure how to explain it but the link is being considered a redirect from the site itself to the original (?) which is causing problems with the libreddit instance formatting. For reference I have none of these issues in Firefox, both with typing links in the address bar and in redirecting links clicked from within the browser.
Edit: I have a redirect set up for twitter.com -> nitter.net that doesn't seem to work at all (including clicking links)

The extension is not working in Orion Version 0.99.124.4.1-beta.

Redirector extension is able to redirect the url (as can been seen from url bar) and the page loads correctly for a brief second. But after that, Orion loads the original url again. Now, the url bar is showing the new url, but the content is of the old url (based on currency).

                    Rule: https://apps.apple.com/us/* to https://apps.apple.com/in/$1.
                    Example url: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/challenges-aid/id6443764002

To add some additional supporting information to this issue:

Redirector seems to work fine on the desktop application, but on mobile it's as described above:

                      • extension fields and buttons are operable
                      • redirect rules do not get applied

I've tried a few extensions on mobile (both FF and Chrome versions) with similar results. I know the concept of a built in redirect has been proposed,
though due to these extensions working on desktop, it seems like the mobile failures are a bug.

                      No one is typing
