Shorten the hover time for showing the name of a website in vertical tab mode

Currently, when you turn on vertical tab mode and hover on a tab for about a second, a small pop-up appears showing the full tab name.

However, it is PAINFULLY slow. To the point of being impractical. Can it be made so that the pop-up appears instantly (or at least near instant)?

TheOtherKai This is standard macOS app hint speed. Have you seen hints appear faster in any native macOS app?

Vlad I didn't know, I thought it was some orion thing.

I checked Brave and Opera and their tab hints don't look like Orion's (so I think they are put in by the browser), and they appear much faster.

TheOtherKai Roger. Brave and Opera (Firefox, Chrome, Edge..) use many non-native components and it is a slippery slope once you go that road. We are building Orion as a first-class citizen on macOS and that means respecting Apple's HIG and using native controls. There is probably a reason someone at Apple decided that is the proper delay for a hint.
