What happened? How did it happen? What are the steps to replicate the issue.
I'm a heavy user of my hardware security key (a YubiKey), which had some issues early this year that were fixed in a subsequent release. I decided to give the latest RC (0.99.125.8-rc) a go, and the first thing I ran into is that I'm unable to log in with my security key on any of the sites I use with it (GitHub, Okta, Google, etc.). I've attached a screenshot below of the error I see on GitHub, along with the error message I see in the dev console. That same error appears in the console on every site I've tried so far with my key.
To reproduce, you should only need to:
- Log out of a website where you have a key configured, e.g. GitHub
- Log in, and use the option which prompts you to use your key (for me it's the default, might not be for everyone)
This seems to be a regression, so I wanted to call it out ASAP.
What did you expect to happen? Describe the desired functionality.
I am expecting to be able to use my security key to authenticate as normal.
