Vlad Interesting. Is there anything else I can do to help you reproduce this? I can reproduce it consistently.

Im still able to reproduce this in the latest iOS test flight build. I’ve also edited the original report for clarity.

Vlad hope this helps. You can hear the audio even after closing both tabs.

          Steps to reproduce:
<Include steps to reproduce the bug; Did you try using Compatibility mode (https://help.kagi.com/orion/support-and-community/troubleshooting-webpage-issues.html)? Did you try using a clean Orion Profile? If applicable, does Safari behave in the same way?>

          1. Load 2 or more videos in 1 tab. You could find videos at websites such as Imgur. But, I've found this problem on a page which is private and embed with VideoJS.
          2. Play 1 video first. After that, replay the video as PiP mode for a while, and play second video during the first video is playing. The first video will stop but do not close the PiP (do NOT play the second video as PiP mode)
          3. Close the tab. On my device, the PiP wasn't closed.

          Expected behavior:
          <What you expected to happen?>
Medias should stop on closing tab.

          Orion, OS version; hardware type:
          Orion: 1.3.3
          OS: iPadOS 15.7.3
Hardware: iPad mini 4 (RAM 2GB, A8X Chipset, 16GB spaces)

          Image/Video:
<Copy/paste or drag and drop to upload images or videos (up to 20MB)>
I can't provide any videos here.

Edit: I've posted mostly same issue at Orion Feedback.
That post is now marked as Done, but I did tested only 1 short video to mark it solved.
The previous problem was actually not solved.

              a month later
Merged 2 posts from Medias won't muted on closing tabs which has played 2 or more medias for a while also PiP won't close.

What happened? How did it happen? What are the steps to replicate the issue.
Someone has already reported this similar issue, but I want to be more specific. Since these errors are all caused by closing tabs, I have been using Orion as my default browser for a while, and I have encountered this problem seven times when the media played after closing the tab continues to play. Please also see these reported issues:

It can be seen that these problems have one thing in common: closing the tab Is it caused by the tab page not being completely closed? This can be used as a reference to troubleshoot bugs.

What did you expect to happen? Describe the desired functionality.
                Tabs can be closed completely

What version of Orion are you running?
                1.3.4

fish Can ou provide steps to reproduce the problem?

                  • fish replied to this.

Vlad These reports have the appropriate steps to reproduce this within them, but after my testing, restarting the browser becomes normal, and this error does not occur until a few minutes to ten minutes of use after restarting the browser, such as the reports mentioning that media does not close with closed tabs, extensions recognizing closed tabs, and so on

                    • Vlad replied to this.

fish Why open a new post vs commenting in the existing? What would be the best way for us to consilidate ? Is there a specific way for us to reproduce the issue?

                      • fish replied to this.

Vlad Sorry, I think this boils down to one error and all three issues should be put together. After my testing, the most probable way to reproduce this error is to use vertical tabs, populate the tabs from bottom to top, and use a gesture to close the tabs after switching to the bottom one

Merged 5 posts from The tabs don't seem to close completely, which also causes the media to not close.
