  • Opening external links won’t work unless an empty new tab is present

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Set Orion as the default browser
  2. Have any number of tabs open, none of them being a start page/new tab.
  3. Click on a link in some other app
  4. Notice the link doesn’t open
  5. Open a blank new tab
  6. Go back to the external app
  7. Click the link
  8. The link now opens properly in place of the empty new tab

    Vlad In the video it works the first time. The next 2 attempts don’t work, and the 4th attempt works only after creating a new blank tab.

        A similar issue is still occurring for me.

        External links that open in Kagi only work about half the time (regardless of whether the new tab page is open or not). @dino

          kagman looks like this works only if Orion is in running state, and if Orion is not running, the new URL gets overridden with exesting tab restore link. We are working on this, and will be fixed in next release 🙂
