Steps to reproduce:
Select any upload file button on any website e.g.
Log into google drive --> click on new --> click on file upload

For context, I'm not saying drag and drop doesn't work. That seems to be working fine on imgur and google drive etc. but file upload prompts don't show up anywhere I click on an actual 'file upload' or 'import file' button

I've disabled all extensions and tried this in compatibility mode as well and it still doesn't work.

I'm using the default Orion profile and for context, this works on the Safari Tech Preview as well as Chrome and firefox

Expected behavior:
I expected the file upload prompt to show when I clicked on upload files but it didn't.

Can be reproduced on imgbb.com too

Vlad Hey Vlad and team! This issue is a little unique because it seems to work sometimes and not others. I factory resetted my browser, reinstalled some extensions I had previously (i.e. bitwarden, ublock and video speed controller) and the file upload menu started showing up again. But now my ctrl-tab feature doesn't work. There seem to generally be a few bugs here and there that can occasionally be rectified by resetting but it's not ideal for the average user to have to keep repeating this action. Im not sure what the issue or fix might be (am suspecting something to do with brower cache?) but I hope these general isolated bugs are something ya'll can look into.

Thank you so much and I'm rooting for you guys!!

gh0st Are you still experiencing the file upload menu not showing up? I could not reproduce that.

Also, regarding the ctrl+tab issue, if you can still reproduce that, feel free to make a separate post. I am also not able to reproduce that one

This was working for me when I started using it a few days ago, then just today it started to not show up. Will try to play around with it and update if I manage to make it work again.

i am experience the same issue. i uninstalled all of my extensions and i've tried using compatibility mode but neither has corrected the issue. this is extremely frustrating as i am forced to use google chrome whenever i need to upload to the majority of sites and the whole reason i downloaded orion is that i wanted to get away from google products. please rectify this issue asap.

I am experiencing the same issue
              Version 0.99.131-rc (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4)

I am experiencing this too, it is quite frustrating. I click on file upload and the dialog does not pop-up.

                I am using Orion+ RC Version 0.99.131-rc (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4)

                Thank's team!

                  Same here, can't upload.
                  Version 0.99.131-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4)

There is no "Choose Files to Upload" windows popping out.

                  Download works just fine..

Could you share more details for reproducing this issue? For example,

                    1. Go to site Y
                    2. Click Upload Files
                    3. The file picker isn't opened
                    4. Do other sites with similar features work?

A recording of this issue would also be very helpful!

Version 0.99.131-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4) same issue on different websites today, where it worked before

                        @laiz

                        Here's an example:

                        1. Go to Google Drive
                        2. Click the + upload button on the top left and choose upload file.
                        3. It doesn't open up anything where a file picker is expected. This is also happening for everything else that doesn't have drag and drop feature.
                        4. So far no other sites have worked, I only use the drag and drop feature for now.

                        Version 0.99.131-beta (WebKit 621.1.2.111.4)

I did a MacOS update today, to 15.3.1 (24D70), yup I was little behind.
After reboot the File upload feature works back again!

Not sure if this has anything to do with the update, Orion restart, system reboot or it's just simply a luckly coincidence.

I am on 15.3.1 and still experience this issue.

@laiz The problem at least for me is that I can't reliably reproduce it. Sometimes the file upload feature works fine. Other times, it doesn't. If I could try to isolate one thing that contributes to experiencing the issue, it at least seems that the issue is more likely to occur when the browser has been open for a longer period of time. If I fully close and re-open the browser, it generally starts working again at least for a time.

I'm also having this issue. ghost.io is currently my issue, as well as behance / lightroom. Same as everyone else. Click the upload button and expecting a pop up window and nothing. I can't even drag/drop files to areas that say "drop files here". This is a pretty big show stopper for me.

I am also having this issue. I cannot upload files to TinkerCAD or any other website (so far) that takes file uploads.

In cPanel File Manager, clicking 'Select file' does nothing, no file selection dialog appears. The developer console shows no errors or messages. I tried disabling content blocking to no avail. The file manager upload feature works in Safari. Another observation to note is the 'Close' button in the file editor does not work when using Orion.

I expected the file browser dialog to appear for me to select the file I wanted to upload.
