Vlad Thanks for your consideration and I think the whitelist actually looks attractive to me. Or alternatively, it would be great if there's an option in the right-click menu to allow users to temporarily make a page unsuspended.
I can imagine a concrete case: Suppose I want to keep the page for WhatsApp unsuspended, so I made it a pinned tab. However, WhatsApp only allows one running page for a browser, but the pinned tab solution implies that each new window creates a new instance, so it would be hard to keep track of which windows actually have the active one.
Likewise, I may often need to switch between several tabs to view content but write elsewhere. Disabling LPM and making these tabs a separate window may not be a good solution: I need to move the tabs, manually suspend tabs in current window. I may need to create new windows afterwards because I may need to keep these three pages but want to focus on a few new pages.
