@Vlad can this be prioritized? I think this is quite a major bug that was introduced over 3 months ago, and deserves priority

        Steps to reproduce:

        1. Visit https://folk.ntnu.no/hanche/tmp/testprint.html – the page content is a straight copy of the example Print an external page without opening it from MDN, just with a different URL.
        2. Hit the lone link on the page. You get a print dialog, with the preview showing the page https://folk.ntnu.no/hanche/1154.html
        3. Select PDF → Save as PDF. The result is a blank page, just with some metadata (title, url, date) showing.

        Expected behavior:
The saved page should contain a print of the referenced page, just like the preview makes you believe and the way it works on Safari.

        Bacground:
I have encountered a similar problem in online banking. Unfortunately, you need an account at this bank to reproduce, but I found this one problem which may serve as a proxy. If this one is resolved, perhaps the bank site will also work as it should. One difference: On the bank, instead of a blank page, I get a printout of the current page. But the preview shows the expected result.

@Vlad This issue may be done, but my issue which was merged into this one has not been resolved. Can you unmerge it? Or if that is not technically possible, let me know, and I'll repost it as a new issue.

hanche It was not clear the issue is different. Did you try saving it with WebKits built in PDF viewer (you can enable it Develop -> Experimental Features)

Vlad Sorry to be so late in responding. I was snowed under (not literally).

If you refer to the menu item Enable PDF.js viewer, yes, I have that turned off (unchecked).
