vscode.dev is already logged into github, so the web app should recognize the cookies (i guess) or the sign in popup should go to github and let us sign in, but it goes to orion but not received back by vscode web app ( this is expected considering the behaviour of web apps but there should be a fix)

Vlad That's what my beginner brain on web dev suggests me, but I don't know for sure, there maybe some nifty things vscode.dev might do under the hood. Anyway

Vlad I'm sorry I guess it won't work for vscode.dev.
The issue is still these in the latest orion. This time when selecting an option to sign in, current Orion browser window is highlighted but no sign of any links or stuff. It should be noted that in Orion the vscode.dev is fully signed in and setup.

thuvasooriya can you please share current website settings for vscode.dev? Because when I am trying to reproduce this I am getting this popup and as I click on open it opens github as popup window and all works.

Ah found the issue (kind of got the hint from browser interrupted the opening of a new tab message in your screenshot ). For some reason allowing the popup windows is causing the bug. I changed it to Block and restarted the app and viola! It works as you say. But this is not the supposed behavior right? or is it
