Lookup does not open in Orion

When Orion is not set as the default browser, highlighting text and clicking lookup or search on the web opens the text in a safari browser.

I'm not sure if this is the expected behavior, but I expected it to open those in Orion since I was doing them in Orion

The "Search with <search engine>" context menu action will search with whatever browser you are currently in. When I'm in Orion, selecting text on a webpage and pressing search opens the text in Orion. When in Firefox and using the context menu action, the search is performed in Firefox.

TL;DR the context menu action respects the current browser you are in, and takes priority over the user's browser. I don't think this is something Orion could manage. Even when using Safari as default, the context menu action is browser specific.

Vlad I am confused. After setting my default browser to Safari, performing the action in Orion sill opens the search in Orion, not Safari. I've tested both the stable and RC release. Need more information from the OP, I'm unable to replicate the issue.

It appears this is actually an ios bug lol the same issue in Firefox:

It still opens in safari even if Orion is set as default

Search opens in Orion which I will now use but uses the same tab instead of a new tab, search the web opens in safari but came first in the list so I usually pressed that one, clicking links in the lookup opens the links in safari.

@Vlad Lookup now opens in the default browser that is set in settings and the lookup opens in a new tab.
