Any update on this issue?
I really want to use Orion as my daily driver but none of the wallets I've tried work, specially rabby
Thanks!

Good time to revive this thread with the Rabby points pushing to convert Metamask users.

Vlad Still bugged as hell unfortunately, just left a comment here

Also, Rabby looks like a valid solution since it's a great open source alternative to Metamask. Anyways, we're not here to market the product but discuss the bugs and compatibility with Orion browser.
We, as Orion users, don't have one single Crypto wallet extension that works smoothly, and this is highly concerning.
Anytime I have to do something that requires web3 wallet interactions, I am forced to move to my secondary laptop and use Firefox (I want to keep my macbook 100% clean and have only webkit browsers in it, no chromium, no firefox. Personal choice).

It would be great if next version would allow users (pretty much anybody has a wallet nowadays) to integrate their crypto activities within the Orion browser experience.
Btw, leaving a screen record proving the issue with Rabby here. Just like Metamask, it won't load and get stuck.

Hopefully this will be addressed. Thanks in advance Vlad😄
      edit:

would love to see orion support rabby, as it's the best web 3 wallet - metamask is really behind, and support for this would help move many more web3 users over

is there something blocking this @Vlad? i know you're busy but curious on if there's anything we can do to expedite

As much as I hate it, I've lost my hope and I had to install a Chromium based browser on my Macbook to use web3 wallets.
Unfortunately, it looks like it's not a priority to fix these extensions...
Honestly we're not asking much, just ONE single wallet extension to work properly, either Metamask, Rabby or Phantom.
I have posted bug reports for all of them but they haven't been addressed

It may look like not much but is one out of 300K extension out there, and we have hundreds of extension support requests in addition to thousands of bug reports. You make it sound that we are unwilling, where the reality is that we are just understaffed at the moment.

Please don't misunderstand my words, the effort you make into both Kagi and Orion is insane and I never doubted your work. I'm a big believer in this browser and I'm sticking to it even if it does not support tools for my everyday use cases (indeed, I'm a blockchain developer and can't use a web3 wallet within Orion).
As far as the extensions supported, it would be great to have at least one fully compatible extension per category/use case, i.e., one (or multiple) extensions for password managers (which we already have), adblock, web3 wallet, and so on...
If you think about categories, that 300k number goes down real quick, and you can manage to have 99% users happy with a few hundred extensions supported.

heisznberg You are right, which is why we have Popular extensions, which includes Metamask. Maintainging just that list is a full time job though.
