    have you tried compatability mode?

eirk Yes, I have. It still doesn't work unfortunately.

Oh wait. It works in a bit more involving way.

        1. Enter the compatibility mode.
        2. Enter the responsive design mode. This won't work.
        3. Now turn off the compatibility mode, and then the responsive designer will show.
        4. In that particular tab, the responsive design mode will work disregard the compatibility mode on or off.

        Fascinating 🙂

this actually is because responsive design mode uses an extension that is pre-installed. since compat mode disables extensions, responsive design mode can't be used.

eirk changed the title to Responsive design mode not accessible when compatibility mode on .

@eirk southp No extension is supposed to load on page when Compatibility Mode is enabled. As "Compatibility Mode" is designed to load page cleanly without any external interference with default/safe settings 🙂
