Orion mobile and Velja?

Steps to reproduce:
Use Orion on your phone, while having your mac next to you, with the same account.

Also, use velja on your mac. No need for setting Orion as the primary browser.

Expected behavior:
It says that I'm using veljia on my iphone.
It doesn't happen when using Safari / Chrome / Edge on my phone.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:

1.2.4 (2) (Webkit 8614.3.7.0.6)
IPhone 14 Pro Max

Version 0.99.123.1-beta (WebKit 615.1.16.1)
MacBook Pro (macOS Ventura 13.1 build 22C65)

@junukwon7 thanks for the feedback. I'm one of the developers of Orion, and I'm having trouble reproducing this. My experience is as follows:

On Mac: Set <Any Mac Browser> as the default browser
On iPhone: Open <Any iOS Browser Which Supports Handoff, such as Orion> to any website (not in Private Mode)
On Mac: In your dock, you should see the icon for "<Your Default Mac Browser> From iPhone" show up. The only way to get Orion to show up in the Dock in this scenario is for Mac Orion to be set as your default browser.

Is your experience different? If so, let me know which browsers are your default browser on each device and which browsers you are using at the time you see this issue so I can try to reproduce and resolve this.

nanoscrew Thank's for your reply.

After following your instructions, I was also able to confirm that "<Default Mac Browser> From iPhone" shows up.

The terminology "primary browser" from my post was indicating Velja's one, since I first thought this issue was triggered by Velja and Orion's incompatibility (which is proven to be wrong now?)

@junukwon7 Awesome, glad it's cleared up. I marked this as Nofix since it's expected behavior, even if it's not the most intuitive macOS behavior 😄 .

nanoscrew I still want to ask why it should show the default mac browser. Since there are users who use Orion mobile while not using Orion as the primary browser on mac, handoff should show Orion i think.
However I understand the purpose of the feature 😃
