Currently middle click on empty space creates a new tab, which is the same action as double left click. Would be great if user could change this, for example to "Reopen closed tab" action, or – my personal preference – "Close current tab".
This is especially useful with vertical tabs enabled, as it leaves huge trigger area on bottom when user has <10 tabs opened.
