We use 3 or 4 fingers for desktop transitions in the system. For example, I switch between my desktops by sliding 4 fingers. Is it possible to switch between my tabs in Orion by scrolling 3 fingers? (Or CMND+ Two Fingers) cmnd+numbers are not a good option enough.
Option to switch between tabs with touchpad gesture
BurakBrandon Does any browser implement this?
Vlad actually, no. There is a similar in the Stack Browser, but there is space and we can see all open tabs on a single page. I'm not talking about a look like this. I think that switching between open tabs with finger gestures will have a positive effect on my workflow.
BurakBrandon Three finger swipe is already reserved for swiping between apps.
Vlad Firefox does!
You can enable the appopriate settings in about:config to enable it. It isn't a swipe per se, but rather, you perform a "twisting" gesture of sorts. It is sort of hard to explain, but it should work for you.
I was so impressed by how useful this feature was that I had to have it for the other browsers I use as well, so I downloaded an app named MultiTouch to try and add tab switching gestures for other browsers and voila! I have had gestures to switch tabs on even Ungoogled Chromium for quite a while and it works really well!
this is how you can configure such gestures in MultiTouch
I don't know how MultiTouch is supposed to interface with other apps to add such features, but could you please look into it? I will try to provide more information if you need me to do so! Not being able to switch tabs with gestures is quite literally the only thing holding me back from using Orion as my main browser. Thank you in advance!
