iPad Pro 12” external monitor/keyboard/mouse
Custom user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 13_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/108.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Using desktop mode of chrome and successfully installed gmass.co extension show that it shows in compose. All seems to work except that gmass seems to not be able to recognize the google account being logged in, so it does not populate the extension portion with the account info and requests google authentication for account. It appears its looking for some identifier normally present in a chrome browser that doesn’t seem to be present in the Orion browser other than the user agent.

Support at gmass.co said they weren’t sure, but guessing:

GMass would probe you to login to your GMail/Gsuite account via Google Oauth, most likely extension isn't able to verify if you are logged-in using google oauth and thus is probing you again to do so.

Just checking in on this, really fantastic extension and the “deal breaker” for making the iPad a usable tool for on the road. Making this plugin work with Orion, (and possibly some other smaller company non-loom screen recording extensions like berrycast, Komodo) would bring some attention to your browser. If that tech support person is right from gmass, perhaps the gap is allowing extension to be able to get “authorized”, maybe there is some callback endpoint that exists in chrome that the extensions are looking for that blocks them from working. (I’ve not developed extensions before so I’m just guessing!)

Coolben Thank you. The way to understand this site, is that every one of about 1,500 open issues on the site are a deal breaker for someone to use Orion for their needs. Since our team is small (2 developers currently) and completely depends on Orion+ sales for funding, we need to resort to some kind of prioritization which for the most part is upvotes based, as upvotes indicate broader community interest in supporting a particular feature. There is also an option to 'sponsor issue'. Thanks for understanding.
