Hi,
When using Ublock Origin on Chrome or Edge or any other chromium browser, it was able to block spotify ads. However, when using Ublock Origin on Orion, it doesn't seam to do that.
If you can make this work, this would be much appreciated!

    Hey @Vlad is this still planned? I see it was marked as planned nearly two years ago.

    I'm also seeing there's a different ticket of a very similar nature here

      Brave is able to block spotify ads even without any extension. Ad blocker for web version of spotify can be a useful feature.

          Our plan was to natively support custom block lists in Orion instead of dealing with websites individually?

              Vlad In my experience, no uBlock Origin on Orion does not block ads on Spotify's web player. I find that after maybe 5 or so songs in succession, I'll get hit with an ad.

              uBlock Origin on Google Chrome does block ads on Spotify's web player. I know this from experience since Chrome is what I switched from.

                      Vlad good point, I haven't checked on Chrome in recent months. I uninstalled it a while ago.

                      Although I will say I noticed that ads were not blocked on Spotify on Orion pretty quickly into trying out the browser. So it's possible, but unlikely, that Spotify happened to make a change right around when I switched.

                          jmm6486 Ads on Spotify is definitely hard to block completely. Even with uBlock Origin, Spotify ads can still appear (I think regardless of browser).
                          I've able to get it to a point where it blocks the audio but it still momentarily pauses the queue for a few seconds before playing again as it attempts to load the ads but can't.

                          I'm not sure if you still get ads on Chrome or not since you've uninstalled it a while ago, but I do think Spotify is still constantly upping their anti-ad-blocking game.

                              I still have this problem, does anyone else? I want to main this browser but the Spotify adds are preventing me from it.
