Steps to reproduce:
Install FF ublock origin. Enable "I am an advanced user". Click the ublock Origin icon in any web page -- the popup renders in "portrait" mode with an obscuring scroll bar. This only happens when uBlock does not recognize it has horizontal space to work with.

I submitted this as a bug report to uBlock-issues and was suggested to use the dev build. This also did not resolve the issue.

Expected behavior:
The popup should open in standard / landscape mode:

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
All versions I've tried since initial beta, currently 0.99.122-beta.
ublock versions 1.40, 1.44.4, 1.45.3rc6

Per discussion in ublock-issues, the maintainer suggests seeing if Kagi Orion's popup viewport is a limiting factor:

Looking at uBO's CSS for the popup panel, the minimum width for the normal popup panel is 18em + 30em = 48em. If the viewport ends up being below this value, uBO will toggle automatically in "portrait" mode, which is what you get.

      a year later

I have found this problem recently once I'm using a more restrictive setup and I need to customise the configuration for some websites. @namnnumbr described the issue perfectly.

        Orion Version 0.99.126.4.1-beta (WebKit 618.1.2)
        Monterey 12.7.4

Just writing to report that the Ublock Origin's control panel is still appears as it has been, no landscape view as in OP post.

It might be related with this issue https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBlock-issues/discussions/2419#discussioncomment-4476668

        The issue says as follows:

First would be to find out if Kagi Orion imposes a hard limit on the width for popup panels of extensions, in which case this can't be solved here. Looking at uBO's CSS for the popup panel, the minimum width for the normal popup panel is 18em + 30em = 48em. If the viewport ends up being below this value, uBO will toggle automatically in "portrait" mode, which is what you get.

I saw later that this was already supported, but no mention if this has been checked or not.

Ublock developers have implemented an option to force landscape or portrait mode if necessary: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBlock-issues/discussions/2419#discussioncomment-8746679

I have tried the new option and Orion browser in portrait mode does not show the dialog information related to scripts as expected (the behaviour detected til the moment). In landscape mode, it shows no information (the information related to scripts disappears). It happens in both Firefox and Chrome extensions obtained from this release https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases/tag/1.56.1b15. Hence, the problem seems to be in Orion browser side.

In ublock issue they comment the following: "Then I would say it's an Orion browser issue, it should resize its popup panel container according to the size of uBO's document".

I don't know if this make sense or not, but there are no issues en chrome or firefox.

Working, I presume that change applies to all extensions, which makes sense.
