Steps to reproduce:
Hello there,
I read this issue being addressed in another ticket, but it was closed while the issue is still here.
What is this all about:
- The Individual clicks on a bookmark or bookmark folder in the bar,
- Their mouse settings (either too fast or too slow) and computer snappiness (old machines) make the function of "Dropping off Bar to Delete" unreliable for general use. The result is Bookmarks and whole Bookmark Folders to get shot and dissapear just by clicking on them.
Pause for emphasis on the importance of this issue...
A Folder of Bookmarks might be very important to someone, and it may even be impossible to fully recover if there is no backup.
Expected behavior:
I would propose that this whole function should be removed. There is a menu to delete each object. No need to drag and drop. I would expect my browser bar to not have a black hole were objects can be dropped at it by mistake and never get recovered.
