Steps to reproduce:
Sometimes, bookmarks in the Bookmarks Bar, get deleted when opening them. I haven't found a consistent pattern for when this happens. Whether opening in a new tab or just clicking on them normally, sometimes they get deleted and disappear.

Expected behavior:
Bookmarks should not be deleted.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Orion: 0.99.118.1-beta (WebKit 614.1.20)
macOS: 12.5 (21G72)

Vlad For me, over night some get deleted, other times is when i click on bookmark folder, click a bookmark inside it, it deletes the folder.

i'm not sure why but i just click on the folder, and click bookmark inside it, and the folder might've thought it was dragged out so it gets deleted. this doesn't happen often though, if this is what you meant by steps to reproduce.

modulo That could be the case I think there was an issue reported with dragging out. That should be easilly reproducible though?

I have the same issue. It happens once in a while whenever I click around randomly, and Orion very easily thinks that I'm trying to drag something when I'm not.

It seems this is related to the sensitivity of drag to delete feature from bookmarks bar being very high and needs to be adjusted (similar to Safari)

This should be done now, can you confirm

Vlad yup, no bookmarks have been deleted for me since! thanks!

Vlad Sorry you keep asking for steps to reproduce. The people here are describing the exact steps. It happened to me twice today since the latest update. I clicked on a folder full of my most important bookmarks, in the bookmarks bar, and it deleted the whole folder. When I hit undo it brought the folder back but it is totally empty. Those are the steps. It happens randomly so there is no actual pattern to it, or any specific path. It just happens. It looks very much like a bug in the browser.

vishy We marked this as done and users confirmed it works as it should. If you have a new bug report please open it, and we will require steps to reproduce. We require them as it does not happen to us in normal use, so we need to understand what exactly is going on.
