NMazzy There is an option in the settings to change this

      hi i am having this issue as well. i have it set to "text only" in the settings but it reverts back to text with icon after a seemingly random amount of time. re-ording the items in the bookmark bar fixes the issue temporary but the icons will show up again

        it seems that re-ordering wil force the elements to be refreshed, and it will display the bookmarks correctly for a short period of time. doesnt know what this means tho

              Steps to reproduce:
              Have bookmark bar always shown, right click on bar and press text only, wait a short while and open a few tabs and it reverts to icon and text.

              Expected behavior:
              <What you expected to happen?>
              I expected it to stay in text only mode.

              Orion, OS version; hardware type:
              0.99.121.1-beta, macOS Monterey 12.5.1 build 21G83, Macbook Pro 16in M1 Max config

                issue seems to persist even after the update

                  Vlad lots of ... in the bookmark name, and the names are shortened to unreadable lengths

                    Also having this issue and replicating it has been really tough. Exact same behaviour though, icons appear and text is truncated with ellipses even when the bookmark bar is set to "Text Only". Switching one of the other settings and back to "Text Only" works for a while (minutes at most) but for seemingly no reason it goes back to icons and truncated text.

                    it seems to be an issue introduced in version 0.99.121-beta and remains unfixed in the current version (0.99.122-beta)

                    I also have the same issue, this is one that impacts everyday activities, would be good if we could get a fix soon

                    Similar situation. After 10-20 seconds of interaction with the browser, icons and distorted inscriptions appear.

                    Version 0.99.122-beta (WebKit 615.1.11.7)
                    Mac Pro (macOS Mojave 10.14.6 build 18G932_3)

                    Bug is present on both macOS Monterey 12.6.3 and Mojave.

                    P.S. I don't know how important it is, but it happens on MacPro 5.1 with OpenCore loader (to enable VDA Decoder and support macOS after 10.14.6)
