Different app icons for more profiles, way of disabling badge on app icon

Vlad I think it would be better if it were part of the edit profile dialog. That way it can be configured per profile. Right now I am not sure if it even works correctly, because as it is in the menu it makes sense to work globally for all profiles. But when I toggle it, it only removes badge on current app/window. When I switch to second profile and do the same there, it also removes badge for the second (now active) window. Might be related to those bugs where you need to restart the app/window.

Currently, if an emoji is used as a profile icon, the dock app icon has a white backgroundd added to the profile icon:

In the RC versions prior to the release of profiles, the emoji icons had a transparent background, making the dock experience arguably more visually pleasant:

A transparent background would make some emojis look silly (thanks eirk for the picture):

The vast majority of emojis do not need a white background to display properly. Thus, I would like to suggest the following options for the profile icons in the dock app icon:

transparent background
white background
a darker alternative to the white background (or even allow the user to pick the desired color using a color picker)

Having options for things like this sounds like a path to thousand options in the browser. We should agree to one approach.

I ran into an issue where the icon is white, and in the white background, it was completely invisible. In this case, with all the white on the main app icon, a transparent background would not work. Instead, the solution would be to make the background of the badge black

I would suggest 2 things:

A simple transparency switch like OP asked for .. for those who need it (this would be the only setting)
Make profile icons cause the badge background to automatically change color to avoid it blending in ... or change the white icons to be black

See below for the affected icons. Your profile icon selector has numerous categories with white-only icons

Where it says big icon, I would switch it to large. For example, Apple uses large in accessibility settings you enable "large text"
