I did not know how to split these because they may be related, let me know if I should file these separately.
For all these I made a new separate profile for work, and assigned it a shortcut cmd+F2 with a custom emoji (which is amazing btw).
BADGE ICON
Problem: When first creating profiles, only the new fresh profile will have a badge on the app icon. The primary one will get one only after you restart the browser.
Expectation: All profiles should update with a badge, or tell user that they need to restart the browser.
CHANGING PROFILE ICON NEEDS RESTART
Problem: When you change profile's icon it will not update in the second app/window.
Expectation: It should either change the icon or tell the user that they need to close/restart that app/window.
INCORRECT WINDOW COUNT IN PROFILE MENU
Problem: After I open the secondary profile (I will call them main profile for primary, and work profile for secondary from now on) and open a page in it, switch back to the main profile window, the menu under File > Profiles will say that my Work profile has no windows, even though one is active, open, and has one tab with page loaded. If I switch to Work profile window it will say that Work profile has 1 window and that my Main profile has 1 window, even though my Main has 3 windows opened (2 normal, and 1 private).
Expectation: These indicators should display correct number of opened windows.
KEYBOARD SHORTCUT NOT WORKING
Problem: Assigned keyboard shortcut for profile does not work. I tried cmd+F2 for my Work profile, but nothing happens, maybe related to the bug where it says that my Work profile has no windows. It doesn't work no matter if the Work profile app/window is open or not. Tried cmd+opt+F2 too and it doesn't work either.
Expectation: Keyboard shortcut should switch to the profile that has the assigned keyboard shortcut when you press it.
PROFILE EMOJI SELECTION NOT HIGHLIGHTED
Problem: If I assign profile an emoji, there is no indicator that emoji is selected. Example in attached image.
Expectation: Perhaps a rounded colored border to indicate its selection would be suitable.
MISSING ACTIVE WINDOW INDICATOR
Problem: Checking the menu File > Profiles > Personal displays I have 3 windows open., When i further expand to Windows I see the list of: Private, Window 1, Main, Main Work, my work iMac and iPhone.
Expectation: Right now I don't know which windows it is refering to, so an indicator next to an item in Windows list would be helpful.
(7. For the last, this is more of a suggestion so I will file it separately as such, but it would make sense to change the label for renaming profile to Edit, because it was not immediately clear that is where you change the keyboard shortcut as well.)
