  • Reader mode shows as enabled when clicking on a hyperlink within reader mode

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Visit reader mode compatible webpage with hyperlinks and enable reader mode
  2. Click a hyperlink
  3. Watch the page switch to the clicked hyperlink
  4. Open website menu and observe the Reader Mode option show as checked, even when disabled

Expected behavior:
Reader Mode should have either stayed enabled throughout the transition, or the button should not have continued displaying the check mark

    httpjames Yes the site should stay in reader mode if the clicked link is on the same site

        @httpjames hi! Can you please suggest any alternative website you face that issue on? Or which country do you access mullvad from (it does not load for me maybe I need to use VPN)? Technically we enable reader mode for the domain and particular pages on that domain may be eligible for reader content preview while some may not.
        If you could please confirm that after going back from reader page (clicking link) to the last state in the video if you turn reader mode off and on - would you see reader content or an error message? Thanks in advance

          But the next page does indeed support reader mode.
