Any update with this? One of the few things that's stopping me from moving browser completely right now.
Netflix Stream Error
Vlad It looks like the connection to netflix is insecure or missing a certificate as mentioned by others but shows as secure and has a certificate provided on other browsers. May this have something to do with this? Considering Netflix have implemented DRM and may reject browsers with insecure connections. Just a theory

Vlad I've been comparing the console logs between a working Netflix page and the Orion one and I noticed these in the console log which stood out from the rest:
One was: Unhandled Promise Rejection: TypeError: Type error
And the other was:
AES-CBC and AES-CTR do not provide authentication by default, and implementing it manually can result in minor, but serious mistakes. We recommended using authenticated encryption like AES-GCM to protect against chosen-ciphertext attacks.
The second one looks like it might be a solution if you could implement authenticated encryption.
Maybe we can take the done label off of this since the issue is not fixed?

After latest Orion update I thought it would be fixed ! But now I got the error code again ! And I do use it in compatibility mode
I did try it on Safari and it works.
Operatin system is macOS ventura 13.01
I forgot to mention and in some videos there is black screen but audio, Like before the latest update !
Can confirm this is still happening.
Version 0.99.122-beta (WebKit 615.1.11.7)
MacBook Pro (macOS Monterey 12.6.1 build 21G217)
Some videos work whilst some don't on Netflix. Error codes give absolutely 0 useful information.
Hi yes I hope someone knows something ! And there will be a fix
It's worth noting that it's not just Netflix I'm having trouble with. HBO Max doesn't work either. I just get a black screen or an endless loading screen. It's not just a Netflix issue.
For me the HD videos play while the 4k movies with Dolby Vision just have a black screen. It could be that the problem lays somewhere there since only Safari as a browser offers 4k on Macs. Now on HBO Max it just keeps buffering.
StefanoL246 I'm seeing this as well.
From my observation
- Some titles (mostly 4K) are not playable from the beginning (got black screen then error).
- Some titles (mostly HD likes anime) are playable if start from the beginning but after skipping on playback it becomes black screen (but with audio) then show error after.
All error I got is S7353-5101. Yes, it is not useful at all because Netflix doesn't provide any detail.
Any chance there is a way to switch to a Vanilla Safari experience with nothing extra just for one tab or website or is that Compatibility mode?
Our new release which uses newer WebKit doe snot appear to have the issue anymore so lets see!
