Find text in PDF files (and better PDF support)

Steps to reproduce:
Open a PDF using the in-browser viewer.
Use command-f to begin a search.
Type something in the search bar.
No search results (web pages work fine).
Expected behavior:
Searches should work the same in PDFs as they do in webpages.

Maybe change the title of this item to "Find" in pdf files instead, seeing that's the terminology used? Probably good to keep both "search" and "find" in the title to make sure everyone trying to will be able to find it on the feedback pages...

Steps to reproduce:
- Open any PDF file in Orion.
- Press CMD + F to find.
- Write anything that is clearly in the PDF file
Orion does not find the text.
Expected behavior:
Find text in the PDF file, I have tested this functionality in Safari and it works as it should.

Yes - same issue. Could someone respond if this has been fixed? I would really appreciate some kind of response from the moderators about updates on this. This is really important feature for a lot of us.
cleandeal07 When a feature is implemented, the status will change to Done. We ar eplanning a large overhaul of PDF viewer which is why is this taking more time.
Vlad Would you be able to share the timeline of when this might be release? I appreciate all your help and work you're putting in this.

Steps to reproduce:
Open https://www.mouser.com/pdfdocs/BST-BMX160-DS000-11.pdf and search for the word "bosch". 0 Results will be shown.
Expected behavior:
About 400 results should be shown. This is what Safari does show.

Steps to reproduce:
Basically opening any PDF in orion from a web link.
Workaround is to open in Preview

Search work on the PDF.
