I love Orion and trying to make it my primary browser, but it's so buggy that it's almost unusable. One example has to do with pinned tabs. I was excited to find that Orion provides a nice dedicated area in the sidebar for pinned tabs, with the tabs arranged in a compact grid format. So the first thing I did was to create pinned tabs for all my frequently used sites. After using Orion for a few hours. I had to restart it for some reason, but after restarting, all my pinned tabs were gone! The regular tabs were still there, but the pinned tabs were lost. I thought maybe this was a fluke, so I tried pinning a couple of tabs, then restarting the browser, but sure enough, they disappeared again. I have the "Orions opens with" setting set to "All windows from last session".
Another, possibly related bug, is that each time I start Orion, it initially opens the named window I was working in (I usually only use one window at a time), but then that window immediatley closes, and it opens a new blank window. So each time I start Orion, I have to manually switch to the last window I was working in, then manually close the blank window it created on startup. This is super-annoying. I feel like this behavior is related to the pinned tabs issue, because when the window initally opens, I can see the pinned tabs. Then, when it closes, and I switch to the blank window, it has no pinned tabs. Then, of course, when I switch back to my named window, the pinned tabs are gone from there as well. So, it seems like there's some crash that's occuring when I start Orion, which causes the last opened window to close, and to wipe out all my pinned tabs.
I'm running this on a 2022 MacBook Pro, M1 Pro.
