Steps to reproduce:

  1. In Safari 15. File -> Export -> Passwords
  2. Save file.
  3. In Orion. File -> Import From -> Password CSV file.
  4. Select file, authorize ...
  5. Get 0 passwords imported window with option to delete.

The passwords.csv file has 100+ passwords in it.

Expected behavior:
The window at the end should display more than 0 passwords imported and they should be available to autofill ...

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Version 0.99.111-beta (WebKit 613.1.12)
Macos 12.1 (21C52)

    McLion Can you modify this file to 1 password such that this still does not work and you can change the password to something ranom (and it still does not work). So we can try to reproduce the problem.

        Sure. Even with 1 line, with very plain data (no " or ' in the string), does not import that one password.

        Here is the example.

        The password was exported from Safari Technology Preview, Release 138 (Safari 15.4, WebKit 17613.1.12.1.12).

              I am having this same issue, except when importing from Firefox. I was able to import a CSV file exported from Safari just fine. And when I go to File -> Import From -> Google Chrome, that worked right, but if I try import a CSV created by Firefox, I get the same message as the OP, and if I try Import From -> Mozilla Firefox, it says 0 passwords imported (although history and bookmarks imported)

                  Vlad It's the same issue mentioned with the same reproducing steps. It feels redundant to make another report

                      JustABrowser It is because I am unable to reproduce the issue with those steps. So it could be to something in your passwords file, which would require further investigation.

                          Vlad Never mind, somehow I fixed the issue by using Brave to import the passwords and having Orion import from Brave. Strangely, importing with CSV files works now.
